Can you be more specific, is it Latex indoor paint, oil based outdoor, poyeurathane?
If it's latex paint, you can just leave it undisturbed for 24+ hours and decant the water off of the solidsYou can do it faster with a flocculant or coaulant like aluminum sulfate. After you have collected the water, add some more and stir it up and let it sellt and collect the second water. run the water through a buchner funnel with a whatman paper. Now you have cocaine hcl in dirty water. Base to 11 collect the precipitate by filtration, dissolve in a nonpolar solvent (ethyl ether or choloroform or acetone) gas it with hcl to precipitate cocaine hcl. Thats just what I would do

50% of the time I have no prior knowledge of the techniques I post. I spent probably 30 minutes to determine that it could be done and the best way. I read polymers and solids in latex paint COULD BE as small as 2um, which is mightly small but whatmans are 0.47um or 0.22um, so they would get all of that out, but you couldn't just liter the paint, it would clog up and make a hell of a mess, which is the reason to let it settle and decant the liquid portionthen you are left with cocaine in dirty water, so basing itand precipitating is how we get it away from the solvents or detergents dissolved in water. Those guys might just decant the water and evaporate it. Depending on the specific composure of the paint, that might yeild a decent product, but I didn't want to suggest doing it that way because that's low brow as fuck and may not produce a usable product without further work-up
Yes, i think it makes sense to dillute the paint with water, stir it, then let solids sink, decant, repeat procedure with the solid, then combine the water, wash with dcm a few times. Then evaporate. Cocaine hcl appears when the water is gone, no need to gas it again.
sure and if you don't like the end product of that, those added steps ofbasing it and getting it our of the paint water all together and then repricipitating will clean it upm a lot. There are things in latex paint that dissolve in water (solvents mostly) but there's no standardlatex paint recipe. Most people I know struggle with evaporating water to get cocaine, but your mileage will vary.
